  • Yarn B -1 Skein in 100 White- Lion Brand Pound of Love (100% Acrylic; 16 oz / 1020 yds)

  • Size US 11

  • Two Double Pointed Needles, Size US 6 to make I-cord

    Back

    With 2 strands of Yarn A and 1 strand of Yarn B held together, cast on 39 (45, 49) stitches.

    Row 1: K1, P1 across until last stitch. K1.
    Row 2: P1, K1 across until last stitch. P1.
    Row 3: K1, P1 across until last stitch. K1.
    Row 4: P1, K1 across until last stitch. P1.
    Row 5: K1, P1, K until last 2 stitches, P1, K1.
    Row 6: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.

    Repeat rows 5 and 6 until piece measures 5 ½ " (6 ½ ", 7 ½ "). Now begin increasing for sleeve caps.

    Row 1: K1, P1, K1, M1, K until last 3 stitches, M1, K1, P1, K1.
    Row 2: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.
    Row 3: K1, P1, K until last 2 stitches, P1, K1.
    Row 4: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.
    Row 5: K1, P1, K until last 2 stitches, P1, K1.
    Row 6: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.

    Repeat Rows (1-6) 5 times. Then continuing working even by repeating Rows 5 and 6 until piece measures 15" (16", 17"). Bind off loosely.

    Right Front

    With 2 strands of Yarn A and 1 strand of Yarn B held together, cast on 21 (25, 29) stitches.

    Row 1: K1, P1 across until last stitch. K1.
    Row 2: P1, K1 across until last stitch. P1.
    Row 3: K1, P1 across until last stitch. K1.
    Row 4: P1, K1 across until last stitch. P1.
    Row 5: K1, P1, K until last 2 stitches, P1, K1.
    Row 6: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.

    Repeat rows 5 and 6 until piece measures 5 ½ " (6 ½ ", 7 ½ "). Now begin increasing for sleeve cap.

    Row 1: K1, P1, K1, M1, K until last 2 stitches, P1, K1.
    Row 2: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.
    Row 3: K1, P1, K until last 2 stitches, P1, K1.

    Repeat Rows (1-6) 5 times. Then continuing working even on the arm hole edge, but begin decreasing for neck edge.

    Row 1: K1, P1, K until last 5 stitches, K2tog, K1, P1, K1.
    Row 2: P1, K1, P until last 2 stitches, K1, P1.

    Repeat Row 1 and 2 until piece measures the same as the back. Bind off loosely.

    Left Front

    Work the same as the right front with reverse shaping.

    Finishing

    Sew shoulder seams. Sew side seams leaving desired space for armholes. Create (2) 12" long I-cords with 1 strand of yarn A. Attach to each front at 7" up from the bottom or desired location.
