Circular Knitting Needle – Size US 8, 24″

Two Double Pointed Knitting Needles – Size US 8

Directions

With yarn A, cast on 120 stitches. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker on needle to indicate beginning of round. Bag is worked from top to bottom.

Round 1: K around in YARN A.

Round 2: P around in YARN A.

Round 3: K around in YARN A.

Round 4: P around in YARN A.

Round 5: K around in YARN A.

Round 6: K around in YARN A.

Round 7: K around in YARN A.

Round 8: (K2 YARN B, K2 YARN A) around.

Round 9: (K2 YARN A, K2 YARN B) around.

Round 10: K around in YARN A.

Round 11: K around in YARN A.

Round 12: K around in YARN A.

Round 13: Repeat Round 8.

Round 14: Repeat Round 9.

Rounds 15 – 27: K around in YARN A.

Round 28: Repeat Round 8.

Round 29: Repeat Round 9.

Rounds 30 – 42: K around in YARN A.

Round 43: Repeat Round 8.

Round 44: Repeat Round 9.

Rounds 45 – 47: K around in YARN A.

Bind off bottom of bag loosely in YARN A.

Using double pointed needles, make two 6 stitch I-cords in YARN B, each 16 inches long. Seam the bottom of the bag and attach the I-cords to the inside of the bag, 1 inch down from the top. Felt the bag using your preferred method and shape prior to drying.
